Beach Service Rentals

 

Reservations are encouraged but not required and can be made by calling our reservation line 956-761-5622.  All reservations made prior to 9am will have same day priority.  Daily, weekly and long-term reservations are also available. We offer a 10% discount on orders over $100.
 

Times/ Dates of Availability:  Rentals are available from 10:00am till 6:00pm seven days a week during peak season at any of our regularly contracted locations. During “off peak” season Oct - May (Memorial Weekend) reservations will be honored on a “call-in” basis.  All rentals are subject to weather restrictions. For rain or winds gusting beyond 20-25 miles per hour, umbrellas may be closed at the discretion of The Beach Service for safety reasons and reopened as weather permits.

Locations: We have over 20 different contracted “locations” along the city beach. Also, we will deliver umbrellas and chairs anywhere on South Padre Island with a confirmed reservation, unless that area is currently being serviced by another beach service vender, in which case we will assist you in making those arrangements.

Rain Checks: Our policy is to refund anyone who requests a refund if the “set up” was not available for at least 2 hours during the day in question. If possible, we will issue a “rain check” credit for use on another day.  If we do not set up due to weather conditions, all reservations will be notified by phone by 9am and arrangements will be made to issue a rain check or refund. With the exception of bad weather, if the reservation was paid for but not used, then no refund is issued.  All rentals are for the use of the person making the reservation and are not transferable without proper notice from the beach attendant.

 

We provide umbrellas and chairs for rent on the beach.  Our rental equipment is available at many of our contracted locations and can also be brought to your specific location with a reservation.  Our helpful attendants are circulating each location throughout the day and will set up the umbrella/chairs wherever you prefer and can move your equipment throughout the day if necessary, at your request.

 

Umbrellas: We provide commercial grade umbrellas for your sun protection measuring 7.5 feet in diameter. These umbrellas are domed shaped and wind resistant up to 30 miles per hour in the wind.

Canopies: Our canopies are 10 foot by 10 foot and are placed on the beach by our beach attendants, completely set up, and ready for hours of enjoyment on the beach. These do not come with chairs.  Additional chairs or loungers can be ordered at the time of the reservation.

Chairs: We have traditional oak “deck” type chairs with mesh backing and extended, detachable foot rests. These chairs also have reclining arm rests that are helpful in getting up and down for easy accessibility.  Deck chairs are available at your request and per availability and are very comfortable for long hours of sitting at the water’s edge. 

 

Loungers: For the same price, we also have aluminum loungers with vinyl strapping that can lie flat and provide for optimal sun.  These are especially comfortable for resting long hours on the beach and are available at most locations. Please specify loungers when making your reservation.
